
All prices include sanitized kayak/boat, paddles, life jacket with whistle attached. We will deliver the kayaks to your choice of boat ramp, accessible campsite or swimming area at one of our local lakes free of charge.
All Rentals have a 2 hours minimum!

Rental reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Prepayment of 50% is required to hold any equipment at the time booking. We do not refund cancellations due to reserving a boat just for you. But you can reschedule if we are given more than 24 hours’ notice. If you cancel within 24 hours of the rental time, you will be charged the FULL amount. Please NOTE: The only time we will refund money if for inclement weather.

Kayak Lessons – 1 hour session (minimum 3 people and dependent on guides availability)
This basic intro class covers the basic strokes, safety, weather and equipment. The focus is on boat control and efficient strokes. Non-swimmers are WELCOME!
$60 for 2 hours per person (includes kayak, paddle & life jacket) – second hour is on your own; If you rent 3 kayaks for 4 hours – lesson is free(MUST be requested)!
Kayak Tours (need 2 weeks advanced notice and dependent on guides availability)
$50/per hour per person (minimum of 3 hours and 3 people) Includes kayak, paddle & life jacket. Bring your own snacks/lunch/bathing suits/water shoes
Kayak Fishing Tours (need 2 weeks advanced notice and dependent on guides availability)

Type of Boats Available
We will match the kayak to the renter based experience and weight.
Sun Dolphin Pedal Boats: Up to 4 passengers (Weight capacity range from 480 lbs to 530 lbs)
Canoes: Up to 3 passengers (Maximum total weight is 800 lbs)
Single Kayaks: Single rider (Weight capacity range from 200 lbs to 325 lbs)
Tandem Kayaks: Up to 2 passengers (Maximum total weight is 425 lbs)
Paddle Boards: Single rider (Maximum total weight is 250 lbs)
Boat Rules
All riders must sign a waiver
All riders ages 18 and younger must have a parent or guardian co-sign the waiver
All riders ages 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult
Life jackets are required for all riders
Do not use paddles to push off the bottom, as it breaks the ends of the paddles
No standing up in boats except specific fishing kayaks and paddle boards
The use of recreational drugs or alcohol is prohibited on all our boats
Be polite and friendly to others on the water
Return the kayak/pedal boat empty of trash and bring the trash back to shore to throw in a trash bin
Renters will follow all verbal and written instructions provided to them by Red’s Kayaks & Outdoor Rentals.
Boat rentals will close when:
Temperature is under 50 degrees
High Winds at our discretion
There is lightning within an 8-mile radius
Red’s Kayaks & Outdoor Rentals asks that during your kayaking/canoe outing, you DO NOT litter and we support the “Pack it in – Pack it out” policy.
You may bring your device on the water AT YOUR OWN RISK
Items to Consider Bringing
water shoes, sunscreen, hat, dry bag, refreshments / coolers (no glass please), kayaking clothes (You may get wet or dirty), waterproof camera, water resistant phone pouch (we sell these)
Items Not to Bring
Glass bottles, expensive or “good” clothes, expensive cameras or video equipment, drugs, alcohol, dogs.
